Chettiyar veedu Homestyle Chettinad food in Chennai.

Chettinad food is pretty common in Chennai. sadly we have very few places that serve authentic Chettinad food.

Glad to visit this place where i got to have authentic homestyle Chettinad food.

We started our lunch with a welcome drink that is so typical south indian ” panakam”

The vegetarian starter had
Pallakai/ jackfruit urundai

They serve vegetarian meals on the banana leaf in the afternoons and the non vegetarian sides can be ordered extra.

The vegetarian meal is priced at RS.250. what you can find on your leaf:

The finale is always sweet and they serve different sweet every day. We got to have the lipsmacking beetroot halwa!
